Aaron was tentative at first when he came to the hospital. Once familiar friends arrived he warmed up to Owen and started acting like himself. My cup runneth over seeing Matt with our 2 sons...our family feels very complete now!

its time
We are having to post these backwards since the increased security features at the hospital wouldn't allow us to keep the blog up while there. Everything fell into place so smoothly...the timing seemed perfect and the circumstances as stress free as possible! Like last time the i.v. took a long time to get in and required a specialist but we got through it.
Owen Adam Bentley Heads Home
Hey all thank you so much for all your prayers and thoughts over the past few hours. Owen Adam came into the sun shine of Centeral Maine on March 7th at 3:18 pm. He is 21 inch. long, 7 lbs. 0 oz., and has 13 3/4 cm. head. The staff at the hospital was great, but Dana so just wanted to be at home to rest and recover. Labor went fast, so I was glad that we were at a weekly check up when they sent Dana to the hospital, which was just around the corner, and her Doctor was able to help with the delivery of Owen. We were blessed to have many friends help out in different ways, and to celebrate with us.

Breaking in Brother's Things
Aaron and Precious are enjoying discovering all the things out in preparation for Owen. Right now Aaron has a Curious George monkey that is his pretend brother so we can practice being gentle in the swing, etc. Aaron had great fun helping Daddy assemble Owen's furnishings!
Bundling Up
Aaron just loves to go outside regardless of the weather. He thinks the snow is fun
and gets excited when he sees snow shovels in the store!
