Changes Everywhere

Both boys have grown a lot over the summer in many ways.  Aaron is mostly potty trained and is doing more and more tasks "all by himself".  His active mind is very at work figuring things out.  Owen moves well, is communicating more, learning how to intentionally get a rise out of brother, and exerting his opinions a lot.  He is officially in 2T.  With all their growth we have a lot less baby stuff around the house...its amazing the smaller people are, the more stuff they need.  We are officially a toddler house!  Precious has handled all the changes well except when we were gone.  She disappeared for over 3 days and spent part of her time with a skunk.  For the first time in our marriage, we gave her a bath and at that it was with tomato juice.  We all survived!

Blessed to be a Blessing

A Spot that Makes You Wonder What Heaven will be like

It's a little surreal that this is where we got to spend family time and a break from the daily grind while our house was in the process of finally starting to feel like a home instead of an overwhelming project.  Still a little baffled at God's provision in our lives once again.... :)

Excursions

Clark's Trading Post
Matt thought he would take a leisurely ride until Aaron initiated water gun warfare with all around...they enjoyed cooling off!
 Another train ride!!!
A perfect store for the whole family in Littleton
This store has the longest continuous candy counter in the world

Covered bridge near a mill

Owen realized he could see the water through the cracks!

Cabin Time

Falls near Bentley Cabin

Aaron's First Fish

What a cool way to start fishing....in Grandpa's pond and experiencing the whole process-catching, cleaning, cooking, and eating!

A Big Surprise

Aaron lit up as Thomas the Train came into sight just after we arrived...we were absolutely delighted to watch his amazement at seeing one of his favorite characters come to life!

As if trains weren't enough, they got to see tractors too!
Aaron quickly figured out the maze.  That is Owen's brown hat barely over the hay bales.
 A day full of smiles!
Our social butterfly.  This is Owen's position most everywhere we go...grocery carts are a challenge since facing forward never seems as interesting to him!
